Andy Deain is a co-owner, lead pitching instructor, and 16U head coach at Pro Player. Deain is in his fifth year with Pro Player. Deain is also in his second year as varsity head coach at Crystal Lake Central after spending six seasons as pitching coach at Prairie Ridge.

Prior to coaching, Deain pitched professionally for the Baltimore Orioles organization for one season and the independent league Joliet Slammers for one season. Deain played collegiately from 2006-2010 at Northern Illinois, where he is the all-time leader in appearances (128), second in saves (23), and third in wins (17). He played high school ball at Prairie Ridge, where he holds career records for wins (21) and ERA (1.34).
